Katra has hundreds of restaurants, dhabas and shops. Kashmiri, Punjabi and South Indian food available.
Only vegetarian food available on the route. Non-veg strictly prohibited. Rajma-rice, dal-roti, parathas are common.
Tea, coffee and hot milk available throughout the route. Ginger tea in cold weather. Price ₹10-20.
24-hour free langar by Shrine Board at Banganga, Ardhkuwari, Sanjichhat and Bhawan.
Almonds, cashews, peanuts, chana available on the route. Energizing and easy to carry.
Avoid stale food, cut fruits on roadside, loose juice, water from unknown sources. Stomach upset makes yatra very difficult.
