Fun Facts to Tell Children During Yatra

To reduce children's tiredness, tell these interesting facts on the way — this will keep them enthusiastic:

🎯 Practise chanting "Jai Mata Di" with children and walk singing bhajans with the whole family — tiredness will be halved!

Common Parent Questions

❓ Is it okay to take children during Navratri?
Navratri has heavy crowds — it can be difficult with small children in crowds. Better to go before March-April or after October. If going during Navratri, start very early (4-6 AM).
❓ What type of shoes should children wear?
Closed sports shoes with anti-slip rubber soles are best. Never give slippers, sandals or high heels. Shoes should be old and tried — new shoes cause blisters.
❓ Should we trek at night or daytime?
With children, daytime trekking is better — good light, weather is visible. Night trekking is okay for 12+ teenagers. Starting at 5-6 AM in the morning is ideal.
❓ Can the child go through the cave?
The Ardhkuwari cave requires crawling — this is exciting for 5+ year children but for children under 3, take the bypass route. All can go through the main Bhawan cave.
